Overcoming Exhaustion: A Burnout Bootcamp

Burnout Relief for Helpers
who want to prioritize their needs
without feeling guilty

It is time to stop dreading work and start feeling recharged.

You're tired both mentally and physically.

You pour into others all day and have nothing left for yourself at the end of the day. There is no energy left to have quality time with your loved ones or to do fun things you enjoy. Honestly, all you want to do at the end of the day is to come home and watch mindless tv or videos until you can go to sleep. At some point, you may start experiencing dread and resentment for work. Your brain starts day dreaming about other jobs and it starts to feel like quitting is the only way to get unstuck.
.

It doesn't have to be like this forever.

A self-paced course to get you feeling more excited and less dread

Imagine coming home after a fulfilling day of helping people and still having energy to see your loved ones.
Imagine having enough energy to get into your hobbies or to do something just because you want to- instead of because you have to- guilt free.
You can start to prioritize caring for yourself without sacrificing your role as a helper. Being a helper does not mean you have to minimize your needs. It doesn’t make you selfish or a bad helper by being a human with needs.

Are you ready to....

  • Work in a place that values you and supports you?

  • Take a few moments for yourself without feeling guilty?

  • Get your energy back so you can enjoy life beyond work?

You’re not alone. The turnover rate and burnout rate is high in this field! So many helpers give and give and give until they crash and burn. We often feel alone and isolated which makes these feelings even more overwhelming. By joining this community, you can uplift others and get empowered to care for your needs.

What you get in the program!

  • 2.5 hours of pre-recorded material so you get to go at your own pace.

  • An Overcoming Exhaustion Workbook and supplemental worksheets to apply the material and deepen reflection exercises

  • Community to ask questions and support each other!

Module 1- Value Alignment: You’ll learn about your needs and preferences for a workplace so you can figure out how to thrive in a work setting. There isn’t a one size fits all for workplaces. By figuring out your specific needs and values, you’ll be able to feel more respected and secure in your workplace.Module 2- Overcoming Barriers to Self-Care: This isn’t another webinar that is simply going to preach self-care. Self-care IS important but we know this. What often isn’t explored is how to achieve that when we are busy, tired, and just trying to get by. By exploring your unique barriers, you can find tangible tools to overcome them and find solutions to care for yourself in a way that makes sense for you and your lifestyle.
Module 3- Boundaries: We explore different types of boundaries and think outside the box of creative ways to set boundaries. People have different experience levels and comfort with boundaries so this gives options of ways to safely set boundaries that make sense for your unique situations.
Module 4- Dealing with Coworkers: Are there specific people in your workplace that just drain the life out of you? Are you building up resentment or frustration with the people you have to see almost daily? Learn small and creative ways to learn your needs, set boundaries, and review your options for dealing with your team.Module 5- Creating Meaningful Routines: You’re busy and tired. One way to lighten the mental load is actually to create routines. This allows your brain to know what to expect and it makes things more of a habit rather than something you have to actively think about. We cover self-care, work routines, after work routines, and more.

Hi! I am Alicia Johnson, a previously burned out therapist. I was dedicated to my non-profit job and gave my heart and soul to my clients and workplace. Over time, I started to have less energy for me and had no motivation to read, go hangout with friends, or do my share of household tasks. I was burned out.
My solution at the time was to leave the field. I almost stopped being a therapist and wanted to become a financial analyst or strategy planner. Something very logical since my emotional capacity was depleted.
Something shifted and with the support of my friends and family- I tried one last thing before leaving the field. I did a lot of internal work and figured out my needs for work and believed in myself that I was worthy of those things. I left my job and started my own practice where I now have a healthy work-life balance, provide excellent care to my clients, and help others achieve their own balance so they can thrive at work.
I spend a lot of time with my cat, go for walks, travel, and make (then eat) really good food! I can’t wait to hear what you end up spending your time doing!
